Distinctive yet familiar

For Aldi Nederland, we developed a series of rice products for the label SAWA to create a more attractive product. With more than 10 different products, Alterego accepted the challenge of making the series both distinctive and familiar.

Creative process

Previously the packaging had a classic look, Alterego had the opportunity to use its creativity to give the packaging a modern twist. We also updated the logo. By organizing brainstorming sessions and by doing research on consumers and the market, Alterego got a clear vision about creating a product with the “stopping power” effect.

Value for money

Oriental elements, recognizable colors and tasteful product photography makes the packaging more modern and attractive for consumers. By making smart use of certain typography, claims and “Did you know that?”, this Fancy label will compete with premium brands.
